This anatomically correct bit sits lightly and evenly on tongue and bars and provides more room and freedom of movement for the tongue. When the reins are taken up, pressure is applied evenly on tongue and the bars of the lower jaw. A lateral squeezing of tongue and bars will not take place. Bit guards prevent pinching of the lips. Thanks to its slightly curved shape, the comfort bar sits very still in the horse”s mouth. Bits with a slightly curved bar are considered to be particularly gentle and kind to the mouth. This property, in combination with our beris plastic, enables the horse and rider to communicate with each other in an easier and more gentle way. The comfort bar is especially suitable for young and sensitive horses. The loose ring means that the bit is more mobile in the mouth. The loose ring snaffle is meant for horses who prefer this extra ´mobility´ in a bit. The ring runs very smoothly in the copper sockets, the resulting better durability leads to an increased lifespan for the bit.

The beris mouthpieces are made of a food safe plastic compound, processed and with a surface finish unequalled so far in the field of plastic bits. Despatch and Delivery

Orders placed before 12 Noon are despatched the same day for in-stock items when paid by MasterCard, Visa, Delta Laser or Switch. Standard service 3 - 5 working days. Orders placed and paid by cheque will be delayed by six working days.

Most orders are despatched in 24 hours, however, at peak times or when stock is limited delays may occur. At such times, please allow 28 days for delivery . You will be advised of any expected delays at the time of ordering.

It is important that a signatory is available to sign for the consignment at the advised delivery address only. Courier companies may make additional charges for second attempt deliveries or may require the addressee to collect from their local depot. If a signatory is not available at your usual address please consider an alternative delivery address where a representative for yourself is available to sign, or designate your workplace as your preferred delivery location. Please note parcels that are returned to Holmestead Saddlery where a signature could not be obtained, and have not been collected from the courier's depot within seven days, will be subject to a £15.00 couriers charge.
