This bit is made of a certified 100% anti fray twisted fibre called “Jumpe” and fitted with two anodised aluminium rings, which are available in three glossy colours (black, aluminium and rose gold) and have a thickness of 7 mm. The special aluminium alloy is lightweight, durable and does not corrode, giving the product the guarantee of a long life.
The “Jumpe” material is a cut resistant, non-fraying twisted fibre, highly resistant to UV rays: does not absorb water (water repellent) and is easy to clean. In comparison to already known plastic or synthetic materials, the main benefit of “Jumpe” is that it is almost indestructible by the horse through biting or chewing, which makes it extremely safe and mouth-friendly.
The weight of this new bit amounts to approx. 65 g. The outer diameter of its rings is 80 mm, a measure which proved to be highly comfortable for the horse in this configuration. Recommended for horses who are extremely sensitive to metal and/or who do not like traditional rigid bits.
The “Jumpe” bit adapts perfectly to the mouth of any horse, increases comfort while minimizing friction compared to other metal or rubber alternatives. To avoid any risk of pinching and to additionally protect the mouth of your horse, we suggest the use of PRO SERIES gel bit guards.

Orders placed before 12 Noon are despatched the same day for in-stock items when paid by MasterCard, Visa, Delta Laser or Switch. Standard service 3 - 5 working days. Orders placed and paid by cheque will be delayed by six working days.
Most orders are despatched in 24 hours, however, at peak times or when stock is limited delays may occur. At such times, please allow 28 days for delivery . You will be advised of any expected delays at the time of ordering.
It is important that a signatory is available to sign for the consignment at the advised delivery address only. Courier companies may make additional charges for second attempt deliveries or may require the addressee to collect from their local depot. If a signatory is not available at your usual address please consider an alternative delivery address where a representative for yourself is available to sign, or designate your workplace as your preferred delivery location. Please note parcels that are returned to Holmestead Saddlery where a signature could not be obtained, and have not been collected from the courier's depot within seven days, will be subject to a £15.00 couriers charge.
