Smart Coats by Smart Grooming is a shedding tool that uses the same principle as Smart Tails and Manes, but with a wider blade width of 5".
They are brilliant for removing thick winter undercoats, having been tested on ponies with Cushing's, Donkeys and Shetland ponies who tend to be heavily coated all year round. Also suitable for thick, matted coats on all types of animals including dogs, horses, donkeys, camels, and goats. Using them in the springtime will allow the winter coat to be removed very quickly due to the width of the head.
Available in coarse or fine grades. Replacement Blades can be purchased, should you wish to swap between grades.

For Best Results:
Comb the rake through the coat in the direction of hair growth.
Smart Coats do not give a smooth clipped finish but do leave the coat tidy. If the Smart Coats rake is used continuously during the non-shedding season it will thin the coat by cutting.

Orders placed before 12 Noon are despatched the same day for in-stock items when paid by MasterCard, Visa, Delta Laser or Switch. Standard service 3 - 5 working days. Orders placed and paid by cheque will be delayed by six working days.
Most orders are despatched in 24 hours, however, at peak times or when stock is limited delays may occur. At such times, please allow 28 days for delivery . You will be advised of any expected delays at the time of ordering.
It is important that a signatory is available to sign for the consignment at the advised delivery address only. Courier companies may make additional charges for second attempt deliveries or may require the addressee to collect from their local depot. If a signatory is not available at your usual address please consider an alternative delivery address where a representative for yourself is available to sign, or designate your workplace as your preferred delivery location. Please note parcels that are returned to Holmestead Saddlery where a signature could not be obtained, and have not been collected from the courier's depot within seven days, will be subject to a £15.00 couriers charge.
